Ellzey Lee Lewis

Services for Ellzey Lee Lewis, of Bogue Chitto, are 1 p.m.today, Jan. 17 at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inDivide Methodist Protestant Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Mr. Lewis, 89, died Jan. 15, 2006, at Beverly Health Care. Hewas born in Lincoln County on Nov. 28, 1916, to Gus Lewis andMaggie Smith Lewis.

He was retired from Croft Metals Inc. He was a deacon at WellmanBaptist Church for 25 years and was a member of Victory of BaptistChurch.

Survivors are his daughter, Faye Lewis Milton and her husband,W.C. Milton, of Baton Rouge, La.; his two grandchildren, WilliamLee Milton and Brett Lane Milton and his wife, Mary, all of BatonRouge; and his great-grandchild, Blake Lane Milton, of BatonRouge.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Lois LambertLewis; his brothers, Felix Lewis Sr., James Lewis and D.A. Lewis;his three sisters, Ruby Lewis, Dovie Brister and Wadie Garner.
