Florence blanks BHS kickers

The powerful Florence soccer teams handed Brookhaven a pair ofTuesday night setbacks on King Field. The Lady Panthers went 65minutes without being scored upon before Florence netted 3 goals inthe last 15 minutes to win 3-0.
Ole Brook goalie Sabrina Delaughter had 21 saves
The Panthers lost 8-0 to Florence, absorbing their secondstraight Division 6-4A shutout. They trailed 5-0 at halftime.
“Our goalie (Wesley McSorley) got injured about 10 minutes intothe game,” said Ole Brook coach Kevin Bower.
Ole Brook was shut out 2-0 by the Terry boys and 5-0 by theTerry girls in recent action.
The Lady Panthers are 7-10 overall and the Panthers are 8-7-4.They visit McComb Friday night, meeting the Lady Tigers at 5:30 inC.C. Moore Stadium, followed by the boys at 7. On Saturday, OleBrook hosts McComb, starting at 11 a.m. on King Field.
