Vicky Charlene Buitt
Services for Vicky Charlene Buitt, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Thursday, Jan. 26 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burialin Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Buitt, 37, died Jan. 23, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on Oct. 18, 1968, to Robert Buitt and Janey Sue MandillBuitt.
She was employed with Lincoln Residential Center. She was amember of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Frank andVerla Mandill; her paternal grandparents, Everett and Ruth Jackson,and Jim Buitt.
Survivors are her parents; her brother, Robert Wayne “Buster”Buitt and his wife, Heather, of Brookhaven; a nephew, Taylor Buitt;a niece, Anna Grace Buitt; and a host of aunts, uncles and otherrelatives.
David Brian Laird
Services for David Brian Laird, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Thursday, Jan. 26 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Laird, 50, died Jan. 24, 2006, at his residence. He was bornon Feb. 13, 1955, to David W. Laird and Eva Nell Smith Laird.
He was a truck driver and a DJ for WBKN radio in Brookhaven. Hewas a member of Brookway Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Survivors are his mother; his wife, Gaye Laird, of Brookhaven;his stepsons, Shawn Talbert, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and IainMathes, of Brookhaven; his brother, Kevin Laird, of Brookhaven; hissisters, Linda Laird and Wanda Laird, both of Brookhaven; and onegrandchild.
Martha Belcher Montgomery
Services for Martha Belcher Montgomery, of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inLittle Bahala Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Montgomery, 75, died Jan. 24, 2006, at her residence. Shewas born in Doucette, Texas, on Aug. 9, 1930, to Mark Belcher andBessie McManus Belcher.
She was co-owner, along with her husband, of MontgomeryDepartment Store in Brookhaven for many years. She was a homemaker.She was a member of Little Bahala Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, JimmyBelcher and her sister, Emma Mannery, both of Liberty, Texas.
Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Willie Montgomery, ofBrookhaven; her son, Kenneth Montgomery and his wife, Virginia, ofPicayune; her daughters, Linda Bumpers and her husband, the Rev.Phillip Bumper, of Grenada, Susan Kyzar and her husband, Marco, ofMcComb, and Marilyn Russell, of Brookhaven; 10 grandchildren; fivegreat-grandchildren; and a very devoted and special lady, Mrs.Frances Smith.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Parkinson’s Foundationof Mississippi.
