Services for Rebecca Ann Reed, of Lafayette, La., were 2 p.m.Tuesday, Jan. 31 at La Chapelle De Martin and Castille Funeral Homewith burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Ms. Reed, 31, died Jan. 27, 2006, at her residence. She was bornto Monty Reed and Diane Magee Reed.

She was a licensed practical nurse.

A native of Columbus and resident of Lafayette for most of herlife, Rebecca was a loving daughter, granddaughter and friend toeveryone who knew her. She had a passion for helping people, andloved working with Hospice patients. She enjoyed listening to musicand spending time with her friends and extended family with whomshe loved. Rebecca will be sorely missed, not only by her friendsand family, but by all of those whose lives she has touchedthroughout the years.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandfather, ClintonWooten; and her paternal grandfather, William C. Reed.

Survivors are her parents; her friend and life partner, AnneSahuc; her pet cat, Bacchus “the Easter Bunny”; her godchild, KolbyConnolly; her aunt Betty Reed and Uncle Mike; her paternalgrandmother, Martha Smith; and her maternal grandmother, MaryFrances Wooten.
