Services for Thomas Harold Smith, of Hog Chain, are 2 p.m.Friday, Feb. 3 at Wellman Baptist Church in Enterprise with burialin the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Riverwood Family FuneralService.

Mr. Smith, 54, died Jan. 31, 2006, at his residence. He was bornon Aug. 28, 1951, to Thomas Harold Smith and Irene MeredithSmith.

He was a boiler maker with Local 582. He was a member of WellmanBaptist Church. He was a loving devoted husband, father andgrandfather. He was an outstanding athlete at Enterprise HighSchool (1966-1970), later signing a football scholarship with theUniversity of Southern Mississippi. He was Mr. Enterprise HighSchool and the first Mr. Brookhaven Academy.

Preceding him in death were his father; his grandfather, JewelDouglas; his nephew, Danny Earl Smith; and his stepfather, JayMeredith.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Sally Smith, of Hog Chain;his sons, Dustin Harold Smith and his wife, Dee Dee, of Ruth, TobyGene Smith and his wife, Hope, of West Lincoln, and his stepson,Cody Montanna Bee Be, of Sunset, La.; his brothers, Rodney GlenSmith, of West Lincoln, and Donald Earl Smith, of Enterprise; hissister, Judy Hart, of Bogue Chitto; his mother-in-law andfather-in-law, Richard and Virginia Wilson, of Summit; his fourgrandchildren, Alex Rae Smith and Madison Irene Smith, both ofRuth, and Marla Clye Smith, of West Lincoln, and Curtlen Smith,both of West Lincoln; and a host of nieces and nephews.
