Services for Hannah Mae Campbell Green, of Brookhaven, are 1p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Della Green M.B. Church with burial inCrump Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. atR.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Green, 82, died Feb. 8, 2006, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. She was born on March 25, 1923, to Charlie Campbell and IdaGordon Campbell.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Della Green M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RobertGreen; her brothers, Albert, Frank, Sam, Levi and Ralph Campbell;her sisters, Tillie Magee, Estelle Burton and Goldie Campbell.

Survivors are her sons, Charles Ralph Green and Edgar E. Green,both of Brookhaven; her daughters, Betty Green Thompson, ofBrookhaven, Barbara Green Davis, of Chicago, and Brenda GreenDavis, of Brookhaven; her brother, R.C. Campbell, of Brookhaven; 11grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and onegreat-great-grandchild.

Wendell Sterling Sr.

Services for Wendell Sterling Sr., of McComb, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Hartman Funeral Home of McComb with burial inHollywood Cemetery in McComb. Dr. David Millican will officiateservices.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Sterling, 66, died Feb. 12, 2006, at his residence,following a brief illness. He was born in McComb on April 8, 1939,to Frazier Scott and Rubye Davis Sterling.

He was self-employed as a used car dealer with Car Palace inMcComb. He was a member of South McComb Baptist Church. He lovedhis garden and working with his tractor. He especially loved hisgrandkids and spending time with “Bear.”

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Norma Lynn Brown Sterling, of McComb;his sons, Thad Wendell Sterling Jr., of Omaha, Neb., Michael LeeSterling and his wife, Elizabeth Barrett, of Southaven, and JosephDarrell Sterling and his wife, Elizabeth Conway, of Austin, Texas;his daughters Rachel Diane Butrick and her husband, Terry, ofSummit, and Sharon Marie Allen, and her husband, Bart, ofBrookhaven; his brothers, Charles Sterling and his wife, Carolyn ofHouston, Texas, Glen Sterling and his wife, Joyce, of McComb, JerrySterling and his wife, Shirley, of McComb, and Paul Sterling, ofMcComb; his sisters, Frances Walker and her husband, Gene, ofMadison, Ala., Barbara Evans and her husband, Phillip, of Magnolia,Patricia Seale and her husband, Jack, of Summit, and Pauline Behlarand her husband, Jim, of Summit, and Cheryl Foster and her husband,Jerry, of Denham Springs, La.; nine grandchildren, Joshua Butrick,Matt Butrick and his wife, Brandy, Hannah Allen, Haley Allen, NoahAllen, Chandler Sterling, Sawyer Sterling, Blake Sterling andBrooke Sterling; and a special nephew, Steven Craig Sterling.

Pallbearers will be Terry Butrick, Bart Allen, Jim Behlar, JerryFoster Rusty Cutrer and Jerry Phelps.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Sterling, Glenn Sterling,Jerry Sterling, Paul Sterling, Jimmy Smith and Judge MikeSmith.

Johnny Roy Thompson

Services for Johnny Roy Thompson, of Sontag, are 2 p.m. Monday,Feb. 13 at Johnson Grove Church of Christ with burial in WellmanCemetery.

Visitation was today from 8 a.m. until noon at Harrigill FuneralHome.

Mr. Thompson, 62, died Feb. 11, 2006, at his residence. He wasborn in Lincoln County on Nov. 13, 1943, to Johnny AlexanderThompson and Para Lee Smith Thompson.

He was a retired lieutenant with the Lincoln County Sheriff’sDepartment and a Lincoln County Jail administrator. He was a memberof Wellman Baptist Church. He was a veteran of Vietnam.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, VersieWinfred “Buddy” Thompson, and Robert L. Thompson; and his sister,Geneva Lee Cockerham.

Survivors are his wife, Gail Thompson, of Sontag; his son,Johnny Carroll Thompson and his wife, Melissa J., of Bogue Chitto;his daughter, Melissa Gail Craft and her husband, Paul Craft Jr.,of Sontag; his brothers, Lloyd Thompson and Gene Thompson, both ofBogue Chitto, and Nelson Thompson, of Monticello; his sisters, RubyWatts, of Brookhaven, and Peggy Lee, of Monticello; and hisgrandchildren, Johnny Bradon “Brady” Thompson, Makayla ElizabethCraft and Chase Alexander Thompson.
