RICHLAND — The Wesson Cobra baseball team posted two winsFriday night in the McLaurin-Richland Tournament. Wesson rolledover Richland 9-2 and Mendenhall 10-8 in the other game.

The Cobras, under Hugh Knight, improved to 2-1 on theseason.

Corey Puckett (1-0) was the winning pitcher in the firstgame.

Powering Wesson with two hits each were Micah Davis, Brandt Hoodand Puckett. Daniel Watson doubled.

Wesson 10, Mendenhall 8

Daniel Watson (1-0) posted the win in the second game. Davisdirected the Cobras with four hits. Mason Warren had three hitsfollowed by Pocket with two.
