Services for Albert Day, of Jackson, are 11 a.m. Saturday, March4 at St. Paul MB Church in Brookhaven with burial in Carver HeightsCemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon to 8 p.m. at the funeral home,with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Day, 42, died February 28, 2006 at his residence. He wasborn on May 4, 1963, to Sammy Day and Lizzie Swinney Day, of IttaBena.

He was a graduate of Leflore County High School. He was aforklift driver with Coca-Cola. He was a member of Perry Chapel inBerclaire.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Lisa Hawkins Day, ofJackson; his daughters, Alicia Hawkins, of Brookhaven, and DelisaDay, of Jackson; his brothers, Terry Day, Calvin Day and CurtisDay, all of Jackson; and his sisters, Deborah Day Daniels, ofBowie, Md., and Tracy Day Holloway, of Jackson.
