Services for David Clifton Griffin, of McComb, are 2 p.m.Saturday, March 11, at Catchings Funeral Home with burial in BacotCemetery.
Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and at 1p.m. on Saturday until the time of the service.
Mr. Griffin, 44, died March 8, 2006, at North Oaks MedicalCenter in Hammond, La. He was born in Centreville on Nov. 11, 1961,to Emma Dell Booker, of McComb, and David M. Griffin, of Enon.
He was a U.S. Navy Seabee from 1981 to 1991 and served as aconstruction electrician. He received two Presidential Letters ofCommendation. He was a boiler technician with Adco Inc. He was aloving father and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors are his parents; his sons, Jesse David Griffin andJacob Charles Griffin, both of McComb; his daughter, Cairey ElisaGriffin, of Brookhaven; his brother, Jack Albert Watkins, ofMcComb; his sisters, Judy Watkins and Robin Dell Fulgham, all ofMcComb; his special aunts, Regina Lowe and Jane McGrew, both ofMcComb; his special friend, Stacey Murray, of McComb; his cousin,Rochelle Jackson Guy, of Baton Rouge, La.; and his former wives andthe mothers of his children, Carol White, of Yazoo City, and DonnaGriffin, of Johnston Station.
