Services for Thomas “Tommy” O’Neal Waldrop, of Sulphur Springs,Texas, formerly of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m. Sunday, March 12, atBrookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the funeral home.

Mr. Waldrop, 70, died March 8, 2006, at his residence. He wasborn on June 28, 1935, to James Herbert Waldrop and Bessie MaeAdams Waldrop.

He was retired and had been a self-employed mechanic for manyyears in Brookhaven before moving to Sulphur Springs 14 yearsago.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, Edward,Jessie, Charles and James Waldrop; and his sisters, Iona Waldrop,Jean Upton and Kate Reeves.

Survivors are his daughter, Tonye Usher; his sister, PeggyEllzey and her husband, Clyde Ellzey; his grandchildren, Victoriaand Tyler Usher; and many nieces and nephews.
