Services for Lillie B. Crossley Hale, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Thursday, March 30, at Wade M.B. Church in Brookhaven with burialin Carver Heights Cemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Hale, 75, died March 27, 2006, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born on June 13, 1930, to J.C. Crossley and LillieMae Gipson Crossley.

She was retired and had worked as a nurse with the VeteransAdministration in Kentucky. She was a member of Mt. Wade M.B.Church. She was a 1948 graduate of Alexander High School inBrookhaven. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree inNursing from the Tuskegee Institute, in Tuskegee, Ala.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, J.D.Crossley.

Survivors are her brothers, Charles Ray Crossley, James Crossleyand Michael Crossley, all of Brookhaven; and her sisters, RubyHornbuckle, of Tuskegee, and Saundra Shannon, of Brookhaven.
