Mary Louise Jordan Acy

Services for Mary Louise Jordan Acy, of Pensacola, Fla., are 3p.m. Saturday, April 8 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Acy, 73, died April 5, 2006, at West Florida Hospital,Covenant Hospice Care Center in Pensacola. She was born on Sept.21, 1932, to Julius “J.O.” Jordan and Bessie Mae Taylor.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Churchin Laurel.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, J.D.Jordan.

Survivors are her husband, O.F. Acy, of Pensacola; herdaughters, Vicki Lynn Blankinchip, of Flomaton, Ala., and ReginaAcy Emfinger, of Perry, Fla.; her brother, W.R. Jordan, ofCitronelle, Ala.; three grandchildren; and twogreat-grandchildren.

Bobby Lee Beeson

Services for Bobby Lee Beeson, of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m.Saturday, April 8 at Community Funeral Services Chapel with burialin Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Beeson, 68, died April 5, 2006, at his residence. He wasborn on April 13, 1937, to William C. Beeson and Clara LairdBeeson.

He retired from B and B Dairy. He was a member of the FirstChurch of God.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Beverly AnnBeeson Dykes; and three brothers, Cullen Beeson, K.C. Beeson andJames L. Beeson.

Survivors are his wife, Irma “Nell” Beeson, of Brookhaven; hissons, Bobby G. Beeson and his wife, Lisa, and Eric D. Beeson andhis wife, Tammy, all of Brookhaven; his daughter, Priscilla N.Beeson Wheat and her husband, Jeremy, of Brookhaven; his brothers,Carey Beeson, Harold Algood and Harold R. Beeson, all ofBrookhaven, and Adolph Algood, of Georgia; his sisters, MargetteRichie, of Memphis, Tenn., Flora M. Stayers, of Hammond, La.,Ernistine McKey, of Bogue Chitto, Lexie M. Walker, Anna MarieBeeson, Nelline L. Smith and Corene Damico, all of Brookhaven; fourgrandchildren, Afton Beeson Linton, of Pearl, Brandon L. Beeson,Taylor B. Beeson and Hunter P. Wheat, all of Brookhaven; threegreat-grandchildren, Shaylee Hedgpeth, Maddox Linton and BradynLinton, all of Pearl.

Jerry Lynn Jones

Graveside services for Jerry Lynn Jones, of Brandon, are 2 p.m.Sunday, April 9 at Morton Memorial Gardens. Ott and Lee FuneralHome in Morton is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jones, 51, died April 6, 2006, at his residence. He was anative of Lincoln County.

He became a quadriplegic from an automobile accident in May of1975. He overcame trials dealing with his injuries and lived anindependent lifestyle, enjoying raising his beloved daughter andgrandson. He also enjoyed horses, cherished lifelong friends andfamily and was an inspiration to all who met him. He wasEpiscopalian. He moved to Rankin County in February 2006.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jessie Buren Jones andEvelyn Evans Jones.

Survivors are his daughter, Jennifer Jones Marek, of Brandon;his grandson, Kiegan Matthew Marek, of Brandon; a brother, BurenLynn Jones, of Covington, La.; two nephews, David and Toby Jones;and one niece, Melissa Jones.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Hospice,13 Northtown Dr., Jackson MS 39211.

Callie Stewart

Services for Callie Stewart, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Sunday,April 9 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. OliveChurch of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stewart, 93, died April 2, 2006, at Beverly Health CareCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 2, 1913, to GeorgeMilton Franklin and Jahazie Laird Franklin.

She worked at Stahl Urban Garment Factory until its closing. Shethen worked as a patient information clerk at King’s DaughtersHospital. She was a very devoted and active member of Mt. OliveChurch of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JamesStewart; and her son, Billy Ray Stewart.

Survivors are her grandson, Greg Stewart, of Madison; her twogreat-grandchildren, Austin and Jake Stewart, both of Brookhaven;two brothers, Rayford Franklin and Hollis Franklin, both ofBrookhaven; and a daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Stewart Treppendahl, ofMadison.
