Services for James Walley Lowery, of Hazlehurst, are 10:30 a.m.Friday, April 14, 2006, at Sylvarena Baptist Church in Wesson withburial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Lowery, 76, died April 10, 2006, at Pine Crest Nursing Homein Hazlehurst. He was born on Oct. 20, 1929, to James HughlonLowery and Bessie Delaughter Lowery.

He was retired from KLLM Trucking. He was a member of WestsideBaptist Church. He served in the Army.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Estelle Brown Lowery, of Hazlehurst; hissons, Chris Lowery, of New Orleans, La., Danny Perritt and BobbyPerritt, both of Hazlehurst; his daughters and sons-in-law, Pamelaand Ronny Dauzat, and Lisa and Ernie Nillen, both of New Orleans,Jimmy Resor, of Slidell, La., and Pat Newman, of Hazlehurst; hisbrother, Gary Lowery, of Laurel; his nephews, Dale Lowery, DannyLowery and Tony Lowery; his niece, Kim Dixon; his 17 grandchildren;and his five great-grandchildren.
