John Richard Godbold

Graveside services for John Richard Godbold, of Brookhaven, are2:30 p.m. Monday, April 17, at Rosehill Cemetery. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at First UnitedMethodist Church.

Mr. Godbold, 59, died April 13, 2006 at his home. He was born onJune 20, 1946, to Hubert S. Godbold and Phylis Bowman Godbold.

He was a retired insurance agent. He was a member of FirstUnited Methodist Church. He was enrolled in the U.S. Air Forceduring the Vietnam era. He was also very active in the BrookhavenLittle Theatre.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his sisters, Suzanne Godbold Nelson, of Placentia,Calif., and Marianne Godbold Stuart, of Macon; one nephew; threenieces; and two great-nieces.

Billy Jack Jones

Services for Billy Jack Jones, of Meadville, were 2 p.m.Saturday, April 15, at Eddiceton Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Jones, 65, died April 13, 2006 at his home. He was born onJanuary 19, 1941, to Thomas Jefferson Jones and Kattie JamersonJones.

He was retired from Armstrong. He was a member of EddicetonBaptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Georgia Faye Walters Jones, ofMeadville; his son, Terrell Jones, of Natchez; his stepson ChuckMcDaniels, of Brandon; his stepdaughter, Tammy McDaniels, ofMeadville; his brother, Ray Jones, of Natchez; his sister, FayeCase, of Natchez; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
