Services for Leathie Rushing Johnson Hall, of Saginaw, Texas,are 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Brookhaven Funeral Home withburial in Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hall, 84, died April 16, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Sept. 19, 1921, to Jack Rushing and EulaSmith Rushing.

She was a housewife.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, WestleyJohnson and J.E. Hall; her son, Jerry Johnson; her two sisters andthree brothers.

Survivors are her daughter, Trudy Neighbors and husband Carey,of Saginaw; her sisters, Eula Smith, of Bogue Chitto, and MyrtleWhite, of Brookhaven; and her five grandchildren.

Paul E. Horn

Services for Paul E. Horn, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, April 19, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in BogueChitto.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Horn, 47, died April 16, 2006, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born on March 11, 1959, to Edwin Horn of Browning,Ill., and Willa Easter of Benton, Ill.

He was an oil field worker. He was a member of the Catholicfaith.

Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Eugene Horn.

Survivors are his parents; his wife, Pam Boyd Horn, of BogueChitto; his sons, Jeremy and April Horn, Justin Horn and CaseySmith, Jake Horn and Jason Horn, all of Bogue Chitto; hisgrandmother, Paulette Horn, of Browning, Mo.; his brothers, GeneHorn and wife Kathy, of Ofallon, Mo., Lee Horn and wife Debbie, ofFriendville, Tenn., and Perry Horn and wife Angie, of Silex, Mo.;his sister, Vicky Horn, of Browning; his brother-in-law, Mike andKaren Boyd, of Brookhaven; and his nieces, Heather and BriannaBoyd.

Bessie Lee Ballard Kyzar

Services for Bessie Lee Ballard Kyzar, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, April 19, at Topisaw Baptist Church in Ruth with burialin the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and onWednesday from noon until the time of the service at thechurch.

Mrs. Kyzar, 87, died April 17, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn in Lawrence County on April 16, 1919, to Grover Cleveland”Cleve” Ballard and Rosa Lee Barnett Ballard.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Topisaw Baptist Church,where she was a member of the church choir and the ladies Sundayschool class.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Jim RayKyzar; her son, Jimmie Dale Kyzar; and her son-in-law, JerryCoon.

Survivors are her daughters, Kay Kyzar Coon, of Ruth, RitaHolmes and husband John Paul Holmes, of Ruth, and Marie Burke andhusband Scott Burke, of Brookhaven; her brother, Chester Ballard,of Vidalia, La.; her sister, Bernice Jenkins, of Bogalusa, La.; andher eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Village.

Joy Strange Rials

Services for Joy Strange Rials, of Jayess, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, April 19, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticellowith burial in Jayess Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rials, 74, died April 16, 2006, at Wesley Medical Center inHattiesburg. She was born on Aug. 27, 1931, to Lee E. Rials andBetty Strange Rials.

She was a former school teacher and basketball coach. She wasretired from her job as the postmaster of Jayess, after 30 years ofservice. She was a member of Jayess Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Erline RayJohnson; and her daughter-in-law, Sandy Boyd Rials.

Survivors are her husband of 51 years, Nickie Gunnell Rials, ofJayess; her son, William E. “Billy” Rials, of Summit; her daughter,Vickie Lynn Wallace and husband Hank, of Brookhaven; her twospecial grandchildren, Bradley E. Rials, of Summit, and BrandiLeigh McDowell, of Austin, Texas; and a host of nieces andnephews.
