Services for Clara E. Head, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Saturday,April 22, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Head, 96, died April 20, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on Nov. 16, 1909, to Allen Ezell and Lonia Laird.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of North View BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, George E.Laird; her sons, Roy and Troy Laird; her daughters, KatherineThompson Thompson and La Nell Laird.

Survivors are her daughters, Glenda Dawson, of Brookhaven,Nellie Cato, of Missouri, and Clara Long, of Brookhaven; her 15grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 14great-great-grandchildren.
