Icyphine Howard

Services for Icyphine Howard, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Friday,April 28, at Center Street Church of Christ in Brookhaven withburial in New Hope Church Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is tomorrow from 1 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home,with family present from 6 to 7 p.m.

Mrs. Howard, 78, died April 22, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on Sept. 2, 1927, to Tom Edwards and Lula Mae Edwards.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Center Street Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, PercyHoward Sr.; her brother, Brice Edwards; and her grandson, CharlesHoward.

Survivors are her sons, Percy Howard Jr. and wife Louise, JimmyHoward, James L. Howard and wife Jackie, Louis Howard and wifeDebbie, and David Howard and wife Annie, all of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Cynthia McMillian and husband Dennis, and VivianWilliams, all of Brookhaven; her brother, Charlie Edwards, ofDetroit, Mich.; her sister, Irene Harvey, of Detroit; her manygrandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.
