Services for Pearlie Buitt, of Bogue Chitto, are 4 p.m. Friday,May 5, at Community Funeral Services Chapel, with burial in StewartCemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Buitt, 67, died May 3, 2006, at his residence. He was bornon March 18, 1939, to James Buitt and Ruth Richardson Buitt.

He was retired from his job with Delta Drilling.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his twobrothers.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Buitt, of Bogue Chitto; hisdaughter, Myra Bui and husband Quanj, of Bogue Chitto; hisbrothers, Sylvester Buitt, of Bogue Chitto, Martin Buitt, of Ruth,Charles Buitt, of Crystal Springs, and Robert Buitt, of BogueChitto; his sisters, Martha Sharpe, of Bogue Chitto, GearaldineMacFall, of Ridgecrest, La., Nita Hodges Lusk, of Wesson, JeanSmith, of Hazlehurst and Ann Hodges Cave, of Monticello; hisgrandchildren, Michael, Alex, Abby and Kacy Bui; and two specialsisters-in-law, Janey Buitt and Elaine Buitt.
