Services for Burnell Beeson, of Silver Creek, are 2 p.m. todayat Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Arm Baptist ChurchCemetery in Silver Creek.

Mr. Beeson, 74, died May 8, 2006, at Baton Rouge GeneralHospital. He was born on Aug. 17, 1931, to T.C. Beeson and AmandaLou Russell Beeson.

He was retired from his job as a butane home delivery servicemanwith Herring Gas. He was a member of Arm Baptist Church. He was aveteran of the Army and served during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Flora Jo Beeson, of Silver Creek; hisson, Tommy Walker and wife Jackie, of Columbia, S.C.; his daughter,Barbara Holloway and husband Roger, of Bogalusa, La.; his sisters,Genola Barlow, of Hazlehurst, Margaret Stokes, of Monticello,Dianne Berry, of New Hebron, and Delma Wallace, of Monticello; hisfour grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
