Services for Burnell Beeson, of Silver Creek, are 2 p.m. todayat Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Arm Baptist ChurchCemetery in Silver Creek.

Mr. Beeson, 74, died May 8, 2006, at Baton Rouge GeneralHospital. He was born on Aug. 17, 1931, to T.C. Beeson and AmandaLou Russell Beeson.

He was retired from his job as a butane home delivery servicemanwith Herring Gas. He was a member of Arm Baptist Church. He was aveteran of the Army and served during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Flora Jo Beeson, of Silver Creek; hisson, Tommy Walker and wife Jackie, of Columbia, S.C.; his daughter,Barbara Holloway and husband Roger, of Bogalusa, La.; his sisters,Genola Barlow, of Hazlehurst, Margaret Stokes, of Monticello,Dianne Berry, of New Hebron, and Delma Wallace, of Monticello; hisfour grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pauline Kees Castilaw

Services for Pauline Kees Castilaw, of Hazlehurst, are 10 a.m.Thursday, May 11, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in KeesCemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Castilaw, 83, died May 8, 2006, at Hardy Wilson MemorialHospital. She was born in Kentucky on Nov. 28, 1922.

She was a retired nursing assistant. She was a member of theSeventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors are her son, Jessie Kees, of Louisville, Ky.; herdaughter, Patsy E. Kunjappy, of Gallman; her children, Elaine andKenneth; her stepchildren, Robert Castilaw, of Vidalia, La., JohnB. Castilaw, of Ruth, Ruth Temple, of Baton Rouge, La., DorothyStafford and Revia Bryant, both of Brookhaven; her five brothersand sisters; her four grandchildren and threegreat-grandchildren.

Maxine Coleman Dickey

Graveside services for Maxine Coleman Dickey, of Magee, wereSunday, May 7, at Lucien Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial ChapelFuneral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dickey, 76, died May 5, 2006, at Ladora Acres in Magee. Shewas born on July 5, 1929, to Robert E. Coleman and Virgie LeaColeman.

She was a housewife. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Churchof Magee.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HughEdward Dickey; her three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors are her sons, Ed Dickey and Keith Dickey, both ofMagee, and Steve Dickey, of Brookhaven; her sisters, Betty Allenand Edith Cupit, both of Brookhaven; her four grandchildren and twogreat-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

James Edward ‘Son’ Sanders

Mr. Sanders, 63, died May 8, 2006, at Delta Regional MedicalCenter in Greenville. He was born on June 20, 1942.

He was a 1963 graduate of Alexander High School and earned aBachelor of Science degree from Mississippi Valley StateUniversity. He was retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company inClarksdale.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his three sons; his two daughters; his sisters,Elaine Robinson, Johnnie Mae Jones, Virgie Mae Henderson, Annie”Bonnie” Smith, all of Brookhaven, and Louella McDaniel, ofIndianola; and his four grandchildren.

Shelia Griffith Sills

Services for Shelia Griffith Sills, of Hattiesburg, are 2 p.m.Thursday, May 11, at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello withburial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Sills, 35, died at her residence. She was born on June 24,1970, to Richard Griffith and Sue Stamps Griffith.

She was disabled. She was a member of New Hope BaptistChurch.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors are her son, Joey Sills, of Silver Creek; herdaughter, Anna Sills, of Silver Creek; her sisters, Susan Russelland Sherry McGuffee, both of Monticello.
