Services for Leo L. Summers, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Saturday,May 13, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in RosehillCemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Summers, 90, died May 11, 2006, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on April 1, 1916, to JohnMelton Summers and Mary Goins Summers.

He was a retired equipment operator and foreman for the city ofBrookhaven. He was a member of the Baptist faith. He was a veteranof the Air Force and served during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Gaby Summers;his brothers, M.L. Summers and Maurie Summers; and his sisters,Josie Warnack, Rae Smith, Avis Smith and Daisy Burns.

Survivors are his nieces, Joan Moak, of Bogue Chitto, and JanetBentley, of Plano, Texas; his nephews, Tommy Burns, of BogueChitto, and Randy Summers, of Harrison, Tenn.; his sister-in-law,Josie Summers, of Bogue Chitto; and several great-nieces andnephews.
