Graveside services for Hazel Hennington Box, of Springfield,La., are 10 a.m. Friday, May 19, at Wesson Cemetery. HarrigillFuneral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harry McKeely & SonFuneral Home in Hammond, La.

Mrs. Box, 87, died May 17, 2006, at North Oakes Medical Center.She was born in Beauregard on Aug. 13, 1918, to Edgar and MaryElizabeth Hennington.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JohnPreston Box; her infant daughter; her son-in-law, Bruce Creek; hergranddaughter, Janelle Box; and her 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors are her daughter Johnnye Pearl Creek; her daughter andson-in-law, Cherie and Charlie Taylor; her son and daughter-in-law,Philip “Flip” and Debbie Box; her sister, Margarite Granberry; andher 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
