Services for John Higdon Coleman Sr., of Meadville, were 11 a.m.Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burialin the Coleman Family Cemetery.

Mr. Coleman, 80, died May 18, 2006, at Franklin MemorialHospital in Meadville. He was born on Aug. 26, 1925, to James LoydColeman and Rebecca Lucinda Posey Coleman.

He was a retired logger who was self employed.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother and hissister.

Survivors are his wife, Ida Ruth Ezell Coleman, of Meadville;his sons, John Coleman Jr. and Steve Coleman, both of Meadville;his daughter, Marsha Kay Arnold, of Brandon; his sister, MildredGalbreath, of North Platte, Neb.; and his grandchildren, PaigeArnold Webb and Matthew Arnold, of Brandon.
