Services for Queen Ester Henderson Brothern, of Brookhaven, are11 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Mt. Wade MB Church with burial in Mt.Zion 550 Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Brothern, 89, died May 24, 2006 at Kings Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 10, 1916, to GilmoreHenderson and Lola Clark Henderson.

She was a member of Mt. Wade MB Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, DempseyBrothern; her daughters, Ruby Lee Bryant and Lessie B. Broom; hersisters, Lola Clark and Gladys Clark Sanders; and her grandson,J.D. Brothern.

Survivors are her sons, Jessie Brothern and his wife, Amy Nell,and James Brothern, of Brookhaven; her daughter, Beulah Mae Evans,of Brookhaven; her sister, Annie Mae McCall, of Brookhaven; herbrother, Robert Clark; 46 grandchildren; 100 great-grandchildren;and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
