Services for Phyllis Bolian Douglas, of Brookhaven, are 2:30p.m. Monday, July 10, at First Baptist Church with burial in RoseHill Cemetery. Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at First BaptistChurch.

Mrs. Douglas, 93, died July 6, 2006, at New Dawn RetirementCenter in Ruth. She was born in Lincoln County.

She was a legal secretary with several lawyers in Brookhavenbefore moving to Jackson, where she worked for the Supreme CourtJudges until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of Alta WoodsBaptist Church in Jackson and First Baptist Church ofBrookhaven.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband, James L. Douglas,and her sisters, Faith Fite, of Vicksburg, and Doris Dean, ofJackson.

Survivors are her daughter, Diane Tanksley and her husband,Kenneth, of Lorman; her brother, Sam Bolian and his wife, Mary, ofParkersburg, W.Va.: her grandchildren, Debra Jackson and herhusband, Rust, of Natchez, and Doug Tanksley and his wife Glenda,of Lorman; four great-grandchildren; and onegreat-great-grandchild.
