Services for Beulah Mae Brothern Evans, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Monday, July 17, at Mt. Wade M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in Old Macedonia Cemetery in Brookhaven. Williams Mortuaryin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Evans, 69, died July 9, 2006, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born on Sept. 11, 1936, to Dempsey Brothern andQueen Ester Brothern.

She was retired.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her sisters, LessieBroom and Ruby Bryant.

Survivors are her daughters, Annette Townsend and husbandJimmie, Lorraine Banks and husband Ralph, Linda Evans, EvangelineBanks and husband Hollis, Lucretia Evans, Jocie Banks and husbandDanny, and Sonia Evans, all of Brookhaven; her sons, MitchellEvans, Leander Evans and Charles Evans, all of Brookhaven, WillieBrothern, of Providence, R.I., John Brothern and wife Gwen, ofMercid, Calif., and James Evans and wife Sandra, of Fresno, Calif.;her brothers, Jessie Earl Brothern and James Dempsey Brothern, bothof Brookhaven; her uncle, Robert Lee Clark, of Brookhaven; heraunt, Annie Mae McCall, of Brookhaven; her 31 grandchildren and 25great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.
