Services for Mary Hudgins Brown, of Pleasant View, Tenn., are 2p.m. Saturday, July 22, at the Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciuskowith burial in Coleman Cemetery in McAdams, Miss. Austin & BellFuneral Home in Springfield, Tenn., is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of theservice.

Brown, 75, died July 14, 2006, at Alive Hospice in Nashville,Tenn. She was born in Sallis, Miss., on Oct. 4, 1930, to MarcusAlonzo Hudgins and Millie Colbert Hudgins.

She worked as a nurse with King’s Daughters Hospital inBrookhaven for many years. She was a loving and gifted nurse to allof her patients. She was an avid grower of daylilies.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her daughter, Melanie Taylor and husband Claude,of Pleasant View; her son, Michael Brown and wife Debbie, ofRaceland, La.; her grandchildren, Kelli Taylor, Rebecca Taylor,Clay Taylor and Jennifer Brown; her aunt, Frances Jordan, ofDecatur; and many other loved ones, both family and friends.
