Services for Frances Jeanette Allen, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Thursday, July 27, at Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in the church cemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from noon until 7 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Miss Allen, 51, died July 21, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on June 27, 1955, to Willie Allen and Emma Dora McCallAllen.

She was a family nutritionist. She was a 1973 graduate ofBrookhaven High School, a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln CommunityCollege and attended Alcorn State University. She was a member ofMt. Zion M.B. Church where she served as usher, secretary andpresident of Junior Mission. She was a Sunday school teacher and onthe Dining Committee. She worked in the Praise and Worship Choirand was director of the youth department.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents and her brother,Calvin Allen.

Survivors are her parents; her brothers, John Allen, ofBrookhaven, and Stan Allen, of Alexandria, Va.; and her sisters,Ethel Redd and Stephanie Allen, both of Brookhaven.
