Iva James Ford
Services for Iva James Ford, of Lansing, Mich., formerly ofBrookhaven, are 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Mt. Olive M.B. Churchin Brookhaven with burial in Levi Lloyd Cemetery in Wesson.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is today from 1 until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Mr. Ford, 73, died July 24, 2006, at Ingham Regional MedicalCenter in Lansing. He was born in Brookhaven on Aug. 16, 1932, toGrant Ford and Aldenie Ford.
He was a truck driver.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, EuliusBlack, Willis Black and Marvin Jordan; and his sister, LucilleCooper.
Survivors are his wife, Annie Pearl Lloyd Ford, of Lansing; hisdaughter, Ira Jean Wheeler, of Crystal Springs; his son,Christopher James Ford, of Lansing; his stepdaughters, EdnaWhittaker and Charlene Johnson, both of Brookhaven, BonnieSturdivant, Barbara Lynn Malone, Dawn Campbell and NicoleSturdivant, all of Lansing; his stepsons, James Johnson and LambertJohnson, both of Brookhaven, and Mike Sturdivant, of Lansing; hissister Costella Williams, of Brookhaven; his three grandchildren,two great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.
Timothy Glenn Rose
Graveside services for Timothy Glenn Rose, of Bogue Chitto, are1 p.m. today, July 28, at Riverwood Memorial Park in Brookhaven.Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rose, 32, died July 22, 2006, in Kiln. He was born on April19, 1974.
He worked in construction.
Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Glenn Rose, ofOhio; and Charles Ray Marbury, of Brookhaven.
Survivors are his father, Glenn Rose, of Brookhaven; his mother,Linda Marbury Dunn and husband Kenneth Dunn, of Brookhaven; hisson, Andrew Glenn Rose, of Brookhaven; his grandparents, EsterRose, of Ohio, and Lavell Marbury, of Brookhaven; his sister,Denise Thompson, of Brookhaven; his stepbrother, Matt Miller; andhis stepsisters, Sherry Cain, Kim Lamar, Shani Phelen and KandiHennington.

Services for Warren Hewitt Smith, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, July 29, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inRosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Mr. Smith, 55, died July 26, 2006, in Brookhaven. He was born inBrookhaven on June 29, 1951, to Hewitt Smith and Reba Cotten Smith,of Brookhaven.
He was employed with Delphi Packard. He was a member of theBaptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was adevoted father and grandfather.
Survivors are his parents; his son, Randy Smith, of Brookhaven;his daughter, Bianca Smith, of Brookhaven; his brother, Oscar Smithand wife Cindy, of Columbia; his sister, Belinda Stamps and husbandDavid, of Brookhaven; his grandchildren, Andrew Culver, Noah Smithand Patience Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Thomas, 60, died July 24, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on March 22, 1946, to Johnny Thomas and Lina Mae Flemings.
She was retired. She was a member of Mary’s Temple Church of Godin Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, ThelmaPeavey and Jeanette Peavey; her brother, Charles Flemings; and hergrandson, Robert E. Thomas.
Survivors are her son, Jerry Harden, of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Lillie Thomas and Patricia Thomas, both of Brookhaven,and Lina Thomas and Ionia Thomas, both of Sacramento, Calif.; hersisters, Geraldine Addison, of San Bernardino, Calif.; herbrothers, John Brice, Johnny Brice and Eddie Flemings, all ofMcComb, Lewis Flemings, of Brookhaven, Jessie Thomas, of Flint,Mich., John Thomas and Robert Lee Thomas, both of San Bernardino;her devoted cousin, Ramon Batteast, of Brookhaven; her 13grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
