The host Enterprise Lady Yellow Jackets handed the McComb LadyTigers a 7-1 beating Tuesday night in slowpitch softball action.Enterprise, coached by Steve Sasser, improved to 4-2 on theseason.

Nicole Sandifer (4-2) posted the win with two strikeouts and awalk. At the plate, Sandifer singled twice.

Powering the Lady Jackets with a pair of doubles was SarahBurke. Karla Beth Hux tripled. Erika Rutland, Ashley Greer, LindseyEverett, Katie Hux and Samantha Richardson singled.

Enterprise out hit McComb 10-1.

Junior varsity action

In JV play, Enterprise dumped McComb 6-0. Lacy Orr (4-0) got thewin.

Hannah Russell and Karla Beth Hux tripled for the Lady Jackets.Singling twice was Burke. Laken Rawls and Lacy Orr hit safely.

Enterprise travels to Franklin County Saturday. The JV gamebegins at noon followed by the varsity game at 1 p.m.
