The host Brookhaven Lady Panthers knocked off the West LincolnLady Bears 4-0 Tuesday in slowpitch softball action, winning theirfourth straight game. Brianna Ashmore (4-3) was the winning pitcherwith no strikeouts and three walks. Stephanie Smith absorbed theloss.

Powering Brookhaven with a double and a single was ChristiMartin. Hannah Lowman singled twice. Doubling was Stevie Wright.Katie Stewart, Georgia Rae Rainer and Jordan Beeson singled.

West Lincoln got a pair of singles from Holli Smith. KaceySmith, Hannah Knouse, Meagan Neal and Karli Herrington hitsafely.

West Lincoln will play Saturday in the Bogue Chitto InvitationalTournament.

Brookhaven, coached by Lisa Covington, resumes play Tuesday atPort Gibson.
