Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe Brewer and his family ashe recovers from injuries sustained in a recent accident during histime on the Gulf Coast helping families in the aftermath ofHurricane Katrina.

Since one week after last Aug. 29’s devastating hurricane,Brewer has been living in a camper on the coast as he cleaned muck,hung sheet rock and did whatever else that was needed to aidfamilies impacted by the storm. We are told that, as he was beingcarried to the hospital following his accident at a local gym, hewas still worried about repair work that needed to be done.

Brewer’s caring for his fellow man is admirable and we wish himwell in his recovery from his personal setback.
