Services for Thomas Chadwick “Chad” Scott, of McCall Creek, are2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church inEddiceton with burial in the church cemetery. Franklin Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home,and at 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at thechurch.
Mr. Scott, 38, died Oct. 6, 2006, at Hospice Ministries inJackson after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. He wasborn in Lincoln County on Feb. 1, 1968, to Thomas Aaron “Dude”Scott and Artie Loy Calcote Scott.
He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He was aMason at Bude Masonic Lodge.
Preceding him in death were his father and a nephew, ThomasRichard Holland.
Survivors are his mother, Artie Loy Scott, of McCall Creek; hisdaughters, Jerri Lynn Scott, of Milford, Kan., and Brandy Scott, ofMcCall Creek; his sister, Dana Holland and her husband Greg, ofMcCall Creek; his brother, Lamar Scott and wife Rhonda, ofBrookhaven; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and one nephew.
