Services for Eddie Woods Jr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Cool Springs M.B. Church in McCall Creekwith burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Woods, 51, died Oct. 3, 2006, in Lincoln County. He was bornon Jan. 19, 1955, to Eddie Woods Sr., and Luberta Brooks Woods.

He was a logger and general handyman. He was a veteran of theU.S. Army.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother, Luberta Brooks Woods, of Brookhaven;his sisters, Minnie Louise Woods, of Los Angeles, Calif., RoseWoods Smith and Deloris Hill, both of Brookhaven; his brother,Willie E. Woods Sr., of Brookhaven; and many nieces, nephews andother relatives.
