For Sola Fide, the purchase provides needed extra space for itswarehousing operations. Due to some grant provisions related to thebuilding’s initial construction, the industry will have to make aconsiderable investment of its own before occupying thefacility.

For the city and county, the purchase means they will get backall the money they invested when the building was developed severalyears ago. Despite some environmental concerns that halted buildingmarketing – concerns that now appear to have been minor – theeconomic development effort will pay off in the form of a tenantfor the building.

The speculative building project has taken far longer thanoriginally anticipated, but nevertheless the end result will be apositive one.
