Missing woman located in city

A young woman who voluntarily left treatment at a Brookhavenrehabilitation center and was reported missing to Lincoln Countyauthorities last week has been found, said Sheriff SteveRushing.
Marlana Marie “Lane” Jones, 24, of Lorman, spoke to a LincolnCounty investigator Tuesday night, Rushing said.
“She has been staying in the Cloverdale area,” he said. “Anofficer actually talked to her on Earls Trail.”
Rushing said after speaking with the officer, she has contactedher family and let them know she was OK. The family was alsocontacted by the sheriff’s department.
Jones was found when a resident of the area read a request fromthe sheriff’s office for information on her whereabouts in a newsstory in The DAILY LEADER Tuesday, the sheriff said.
“They read the article on it and called us right away,” Rushingsaid.
Jones climbed out of a window in her room while participating ina voluntary program at New Haven Recovery Center on Sept. 30. Shewas reported missing to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department onOct. 5 by her family.
