Services for Ella Louise “Mamie Gal” Arnold Ford, of Brookhaven,are 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at St. James M.B. Church inBrookhaven with burial in Carver Heights Cemetery. WilliamsMortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home,with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mrs. Ford, 63, died Oct. 13, 2006, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 14, 1943, toLee Willie Arnold and Geneva Webb.

She attended Alexander High School, and was retired from AuburnSportswear of Brookhaven, after 30 years of service. She was amember of St. James M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her father; her stepfather, SecdonieWebb Sr., and her brother, Robert Earl “Snake” Arnold.

Survivors are her mother, Geneva Webb, of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Dorene Brown, Doletha Arnold, Brenda Trahan and BessieArnold, all of St. Louis, Mo., and Tonia Arnold Henry, ofBrookhaven; her sons, Anderson Trahan and Gregory Trahan, both ofSt. Louis, and Rodney Trahan, of Las Vegas, Nev., and EugeneArnold, of Brookhaven; her sister, Linda Thrasher and husbandMichael, of Brookhaven; her brothers, Secdonie Webb Jr., EmbryWebb, and James Arnold “Peanut” Webb and wife Jean, all ofBrookhaven; her 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, anda host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
