Services for Nancy Lee Hollomon Johnson, of Woodville, are 1p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Embrew Baptist Church in Woodville withburial in the church cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.
Visitation is today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home inBude, and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the church.
Mrs. Johnson, 71, died Oct. 11, 2006, at Natchez CommunityHospital. She was born in Wilkinson County on Feb. 1, 1935, toLeonard Hollomon and Hattie Harrison Hollomon.
She was a member of Embrew Baptist Church where she served onthe Mother Board (deaconess), was president of the choir and vicepresident of the Usher Board. She was a community volunteer.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, NolanJohnson Sr.; her daughter, Stephanie E. Johnson; her son, Jessie L.Johnson; one sister and a daughter-in-law.
Survivors are her daughters, Lee Thompson and Joyce Veal, bothof Woodville; her adopted daughter, Nalisha Poole, of Woodville;her sons, Nolan Johnson Jr., Shelton Johnson and Carl Johnson, allof Woodville; her sisters, Willie Bibbins, Annie Groom, LouisaEllison and Mary Scott, all of Woodville, and Debra Hollomon, ofHouston, Texas; her brothers, Leonard Hollomon and James Hollomon,both of Natchez; her 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, anda host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
