Services for Etta Matilda “Tillie” Floyd White, of Natchez, were3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Natchez.Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. White, 58, died November 5, 2006 at her home. She was bornin Natchez on May 4, 1948, to Thomas Percy Floyd Sr. and MyrtisHunt Floyd.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her grandparents, PercyFloyd, Matilda Kingberry Floyd, Ernest Hunt Sr. and Etta SmartyHunt; her daughter, Donna Terri Chaney-Berry; and her sister,Mertis Louise Floyd Scott.

Survivors are her son, Van Tracy Chaney; her brothers, ThomasPercy Floyd and his wife, Augustine, of Natchez, and Ollie Fleming,of New Orleans; her sisters, Celia Floyd Peeple and her husband,Robert, of Bude, Cathy Deneese Floyd, of Gulfport, Rosie Rogers andher husband, Hoyle, of Memphis, and Della Thomas and her husband,Luther; and four grandchildren.
