Philip Keith Coney

Services for Philip Keith Coney, of Ooltewah, Tenn., are 2 p.m.Thursday, Nov. 16, at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, La., withburial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield. The Rev. JackMiller will officiate.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral homeand on Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.

Mr. Coney, 52, died Nov. 12, 2006.

He was a team leader in the systems department of U.S. Xpress inChattanooga, Tenn. He was a graduate of Louisiana State Universityin Baton Rouge, La. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather,son and brother who will be missed by his entire family.

Survivors are his parents, Jim and Isabel Coney, of Brookhaven;his wife, Debra Reeves Coney, of Ooltewah; his daughter, MelissaCamacho and husband Angel, of Woodstock, Ga.; his son, Greg Coneyand wife Lome’, of Peachtree City, Ga.; his grandson, Cade DanielCamacho, of Woodstock; his sister, Jan Dempsey and husband Kent, ofBasin, Wyo.; his brother, Robert Coney and wife Debbie, of BatonRouge; and his mother- and father-in-law, Jeff and Nita Reeves, ofWinnfield.

Mary ‘Cissy’ Lorena Owens

Services for Mary “Cissy” Lorena Owens, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Community Funeral Services with burialin Little Bahalia Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 1 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, andon Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Owens, 63, died Nov. 12, 2006, at Haven Hall Health Care Center.She was born on May 22, 1943, to Vernon Bardwell and Ruth EvelynRussell Bardwell.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her three sisters, twobrothers, two nieces and three nephews.

Survivors are her brother, Hollis Bardwell and wife Linda, ofPearland, Texas; her sister, Virginia Fernandez, of Brookhaven; heraunt, Jessie Boyd, of Brookhaven; her brother-in-law, E.B. Magee,of Brookhaven; her six nieces and one nephew; and her 11great-nieces, nine great-nephews, one great-great niece and specialfriends.

Hauta Estella Morris Tanksley

Services for Hauta Estella Morris Tanksley, of Monticello, are 2p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Sauls Valley Baptist Church inMonticello with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 5 until 10 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of theservice.

Mrs. Tanksley, 81, died Nov. 12, 2006, at Forrest GeneralHospital in Hattiesburg. She was born on March 31, 1925, to JuneMorris and Myrtis Boyd Morris.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sauls Valley BaptistChurch. She was a loving wife and mother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, WilliamThomas “Tommy” Tanksley; her son, Donald Tanksley; her daughter,Irene Tanksley; her brothers, Ellis Morris and Jack Morris; and hersisters, Verlie Rials, Vera Lambert, Rosie Givens and EriaReid.

Survivors are her son, Bobby Wayne Tanksley and wife Melissa, ofWesson; her daughter, Carol Jean Tanksley Keyes and husband Ed, ofMonticello; her seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and ahost of nieces and nephews.
