BOGUE CHITTO — Senior forward Keyounna Perkins poured in 37points and pulled down 15 rebounds in directing the Bogue ChittoBobcats to a 78-62 Saturday night victory over Wesson’s Cobras inR.L. “Bob” Calhoun Gymnasium. In the girls game, Shasta Porterpumped in 19 points and Kimberlee Thomas 13, leading the BogueChitto Lady ‘Cats to a 63-42 win over Wesson’s Lady Cobras.

The Lady ‘Cats (3-1) exploded for 27 second-quarter points lastnight as Coach Christi Terrell’s team took a 40-20 halftimelead.

Freshman Ann Shelby Davis led Wesson (4-2) with 12 points.

The Bobcats (1-1) got 23 points from freshmanJustin Gaines. They battled Wesson to a 27-27 halftimedeadlock.

The Bobcats, coached by Andrew Smithie, were led on thebackboards by Perkins. Gaines added 11 rebounds. Guard AntwainLyons accounted for 7 assists and 5 steals.

Wesson (2-4) got 21 points from Brandt Hood, 12 from Cody Kingand 11 from Jamar Sims.
