Beulah Polk Hedgepeth

Services for Beulah Polk Hedgepeth, of McComb, were 3 p.m.Sunday, Nov. 19, at Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hedgepeth, 92, died Nov. 17, 2006, at her home. She wasborn on May 2, 1914, to Robert Lee Polk and Annie Andrews Polk.

She was a retired seamstress with Monticello KellwoodManufactory. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Mack Hedgepeth Sr.; herparents; her brothers, T.J. Polk and Kenneth Polk; and her sisters,Mazie King and Eula Lee Hedgepeth.

Survivors are her son, Mack Hedgepeth Jr. and his wife, Mildred,of Monticello; her daughter, Willodene H. Wilson and her husband,Dick, of McComb; her sister, Leone P. Howard, of Crystal Springs;her grandchildren, Brenda W. Tyson, Mitchell Hedgepeth, Janet Reid,Jason Lee Hedgepeth, Sandra Reeves and Joseph Wilson; sevengreat-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host ofnieces and nephews.

Pauline Cox Lambert

Services for Pauline Cox Lambert, of Arlington, Texas, are 2p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inCarmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Lambert, 87, died Nov. 16, 2006, at her home. She was bornon April 2, 1919, to Henry Cox and Mary Nannie Wilson Cox.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Carmel BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Watson Lambert; herparents; and her brothers.

Survivors are her son, Stanley Lambert, of Fort Worth, Texas;her daughters, Nan Stover, of Grandprairee, Texas, Patsy Jones, ofVidor, Texas, and Sharon Lambert, of Gatlinburg, Tenn.; her sister,Gloria Swanson Hearn, of New Orleans; 10 grandchildren; 15great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Fred William Lott

Services for Fred William Lott, of Sumrall, were 2 p.m. Sunday,Nov. 19, at Hulett-Winstead Sumrall Chapel with burial in JonesCemetery.

Mr. Lott, 48, died Nov. 16, 2006, at his home. He was born toLindon L. Lott and Faye Lott.

He was a former car man with Illinois Central Railroad and truckdriver. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother, Faye Lott, of Sumrall; his son, CaseyGarrett Lott, of Woodville; his daughter, Lori Suzanne Lott, ofMcCall Creek; his sisters, Nelda Moree and Bonnie Hinrichsen, bothof Sumrall; and his brother, Morris W. Lott.

Eunice Neal Townsend

Services for Eunice Neal Townsend, of Brookhaven, were 1 p.m.Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Antioch Baptist Cemetery.

Mrs. Townsend, 94, died Nov. 16, 2006, at North Oaks MedicalCenter in Hammond, La. She was born in Lawrence County on Dec. 20,1911, to Murphy Neal and Settie Neal.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Antioch BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ned J. Townsend; herparents; her son, James D. Townsend; her brothers; and hersisters.

Survivors are her husband Ted Townsend,of Baptist, La.; herdaughters, Barbara Adams, of Hammond, La.; her sister, RuthBurkett, of Monticello; four grandchildren; and eightgreat-grandchildren.

Robert Klien Vandevender

Services for Robert Klien Vandevender, of Roxie, were 2 p.m.Sunday, Nov. 19, at Greendale Methodist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from 1 p.m. until the time of the service atthe church.

Mr. Vandevender, 80, died Nov. 17, 2006, at Hospice Ministriesin Ridgeland. He was born on Jan. 6, 1926, to Henry EarlVandevender and Harriett Elizabeth “Betty” Dozier Vandevender.

He was a former sawmill worker and lumber inspector. He was amember of the Methodist faith. He was also a veteran of the Navyduring World War II. Mr. Vandevender was a mason member of the BenFranklin Lodge #11.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Geraldine AllredVandevender; his parents; his brothers, H.L. Vandevender, OtisOdell Vandevender, and Dick Vandevender; and his sisters, CoreenHarris, Anna Robertson, Ruby Foster, and Jewel Cooper.

He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
