Brookhaven Academy divides with Huntington

FERRIDAY, La. — Brookhaven Academy’s varsity basketball teamssplit a twinbill with Huntington School Monday night. The Houndstopped the Cougars 65-62 in varsity boys action and Brookhaven’sLady Cougars whipped the Lady Hounds 62-32 to improve to 7-0 on theyear.
Antonio Jordan scored 27 points to lead the Hounds. Ricky Dunbarfollowed with 14 points.
T-Boy Lynch scored 19 points and had 6 assists and 5 steals tolead Brookhaven. Corey Dickerson followed with 12 points and 8rebounds. Daniel Lofton also collected 8 rebounds as the Cougarsfell to 2-1 on the season.
In the varsity girls game, Drew Holland Tigner scored 12 pointsand made 6 steals to lead Brookhaven. Kelli Snider followed with 8points and 3 assists. Hannah Watts scored 7 points. Pryllicia Woodsscored 14 points to lead Huntington.
Brookhaven hosts Presbyterian Christian School of Hattiesburgtonight for four games. The junior high girls tip off at 4 p.m.
