Enella Carruth Wade

Enella Carruth Wade, of Brookhaven, died Nov. 27, 2006, at theLiberty Community Living Center in Liberty. Visitation and burialwill be announced at a later date. Hartman Funeral Home in McCombis in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wade was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 6, 1922, to Alfred BoydCarruth and Hettie Hutson Carruth.

She was a retired reporter for The DAILY LEADER newspaper. Shewas a member of the Jackson Street United Methodist Church inBrookhaven, where she played the organ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, DonaldEarl Wade; her sister, Lucy Carruth; and her brothers, Joe AllenCarruth and Robert Carruth.

Survivors are her daughters, Jo Ellen Davis, of Hattiesburg, andHanna Waldhalm and husband John, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; hergrandchildren, Raphe Waldhalm, Christin Waldhalm, Blaine Waldhalm,James Davis and Julie Davis; her great-grandchild, Elizabeth Rose,and another great-grandchild due to be born.

Memorials may be made to Liberty Community Living Center, 323 N.Industrial Park, Liberty MS 39645.
