Marie Nettles Fabacher

Services for Marie Nettles Fabacher, of Waveland, were Saturday,Nov. 25, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in RosehillCemetery.

Mrs. Fabacher, 87, died Nov. 21, 2006, at Select SpecialtyHospital in Gulfport. She was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 23,1919, to Ray Herring and Lessie Priest Herring.

She was a retired licensed hairdresser and former real estateagent. She was a member of the Baptist faith and attended ShorelineBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husbands,George Nettles, C.A. Beeson and Hubert Fabacher; and herparents.

Survivors are her daughter, Patricia Perret and her husbandLouis D., of Waveland; her sisters, Mae Belle Coussens, of VirginiaBeach, Va., Margarette Baskin, of Meridian, and Mary FrancesHenderson, of Mobile, Ala.; one grandchild; threegreat-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Arminia ‘Menie Gal’ Farr

Services for Arminia “Menie Gal” Farr, of Meadville, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMidway Cemetery in Meadville.

Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Farr, 97, died Nov. 25, 2006, at Franklin County Hospital.She was born in Franklin County on Nov. 9, 1909, to A.B. Lehman andLusie Torrey Lehman.

She was a cattle farmer. She was a member of OldenbergPresbyterian Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, EdwinFarr; one daughter; one brother; and three sisters.

Survivors are her daughters, Irene Wilkinson and Edwina King,both of Roxie, and Pollye Diamond, of Braselton, Ga.; and her 14grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

James Monroe ‘J.M.’ Hodges

Services for James Monroe “J.M.” Hodges, of Meadville, are 11a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inMoaks Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Tuesday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Hodges, 76, died Nov. 26, 2006, in Hattiesburg. He was bornin Pike County on May 10, 1930, to Will Hodges and Sally ParnellHodges.

He was retired in 1971 from the Illinois Central Railroad. Hewas a member of Siloam Baptist Church in Franklin County.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his infant son, MalfordGlenn Hodges; his granddaughter, Amy Hodges; one brother; and fivesisters.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Bonnie Mae Hodges, ofMeadville; his sons, Jim Hodges and wife Becky, of Hattiesburg, andRandall Hodges and wife Kathy, of Meadville; his brother, WillieHodges and wife Louise, of the Moaks Creek community; hisgrandchildren, Chad Hodges, of Hattiesburg, Todd Hodges, ofBrandon, and Dane Hodges, of Meadville; and hisgreat-grandchildren, Josh Hodges, Morgan Hodges, Brooke Hodges andRebecca Hodges.

Kathryn Cole Langston

Services for Kathryn Cole Langston, of Monticello, are 10 a.m.Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inSociety Hill Cemetery in Goss.

Visitation is today from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Langston, 80, died Nov. 26, 2006, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. She was born in Lawrence County on Aug. 6, 1926, to OwenCole and Grace Dean Cole. She grew up in Oakvale and then moved toClinton to raise her family, then retired back to Oakvale.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Northside BaptistChurch in Clinton.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, CowanBourne Langston; and one brother, Ray Cole.

Survivors are her sons, Tommy Langston, of Brandon, and RandyLangston, of Pensacola, Fla.; her brother, Levon Cole, of Oakvale;and her sister, Eva Lois Long, of Petal; her granddaughter,Christie Cotten; and her great-grandchildren, Langston Todd Cottenand Shelby Lea Cotten.

Layton Timothy Malone

Graveside services for Layton Timothy Malone, of Brookhaven, are11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Mallalieu Methodist Church Cemetery inBrookhaven. Community Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Infant Malone died Nov. 27, 2006, at Woman’s Hospital inFlowood. He was born on Nov. 24, 2006, to Timothy K. Malone andTiffany N. Boman.

Survivors are his parents; his brother, Timothy Malone, ofBrookhaven; his sister, Haley Malone, of Brookhaven; maternalgrandparents, Kevin and Zina Droak, of Brookhaven, and Alton andMary Boman, of Vernon, Ala.; his paternal grandparents, Preston andBrenda Howard, and Homer and Sue Malone, all of Brookhaven; hisaunt, Jennifer Chamblee, of Brookhaven; and his uncles, TimothyBoman and Andrew Droak, both of Brookhaven.
