Services for Nell Sumrall, of Jayess, were Saturday, Dec. 2, atPowells Grove Pentecostal Church in Jayess with burial in thechurch cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Sumrall, 94, died Nov. 30, 2006, at Bill Dora Nursing Homein Tylertown. She was born on June 30, 1912, to Sam Lambert andLaura Jane King Lambert.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Powells GrovePentecostal Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Elsie B.Sumrall; her three brothers, seven sisters and one grandchild.

Survivors are her sons, Tommy Sumrall, of Columbia, JimmySumrall, of Jayess, and Richard Hines, of Quitman; her daughters,Bonnie Brister, of McComb, and Patsy Brooks, of Tylertown; fourgrandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and eightgreat-grandchildren.
