We want to add our applause to those congratulating BrookhavenPolice Chief Pap Henderson on his being the first honoree at the”O” Foundation’s Ole Brook VIP Banquet and Gala.

The “O” Foundation, which was formed to promote community unity, chose to honor Henderson – the city’s first black police – for hisimpeccable character, his being a fine role model and his strongrepresentation of the city. Like the foundation itself, Hendersonis a force for good in Brookhaven and his record of service hasreflected that throughout his 36 years with the policedepartment.

Congratulations, Chief.
