Services for Philip “Buddy” Daquila Jr., of McComb, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb withburial in Hollywood Cemetery. Dr. David Millican and the Rev. TedBowlin will officiate.

Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, andfrom 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.

Mr. Daquila, 75, died Dec. 10, 2006, at his residence. He wasborn to Philip “Buck” Daquilla Sr. and Audrey Pearl BoydDaquilla.

He was a retired conductor for Illinois Central Gulf Railroadwith 38 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the KoreanWar. He was a member of South McComb Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, BillDaquilla.

Survivors are his wife, Doris Leach Daquila, of McComb; hissons, Philip Daquila III, of East St. Louis, Ill., and Chris A.Daquila, of Collins; his sister, Frances Daquilla Gatlin, ofMcComb; his sister-in-law, Ernestine Daquilla, of McComb; andnumerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Bill Garner, Jim Duckworth, Larry McDaniel,Jimmy Don Boyd, Ted Rayborn and Charlie Culotta.

Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Illinois Central GulfRailroad.
