Shanon West ‘Lana’ Adams
Services for Shanon West “Lana” Adams, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Wednesday, Dec.. 20, at First Baptist Church of Brookhavenwith burial in Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family FuneralService is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Adams, 37, died Dec. 16, 2006, in Copiah County. She wasborn on July 3, 1969, to Mitchell Gordon West and Dora DianeWest.
She was a school teacher. She was a member of First BaptistChurch of Brookhaven.
Preceding her in death was her mother.
Survivors are her father; her husband, Lance E. Adams; her son,Hayden Edward Adams; her daughter, Anna-Caroline Chun Adams; andher sisters, Anna Lisa West Ryals and Heather Elizabeth WestWalker.

Floy Ophelia James Evans
Services for Floy Ophelia James Evans, of Sontag, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Sontag.
Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Evans, 99, died Dec. 16, 2006, at Lawrence County NursingHome. She was born on Aug. 18, 1907, to William James and MinnieJohnson James.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Churchand a former member of Nola Baptist Church. She was a loving anddevoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother andgreat-great-grandmother. She loved sewing for her family, quilting,gardening and cooking. All who knew her knew of her love for herLord.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RankinJames Evans; and nine brothers and three sisters.
Survivors are her son, James Paul Evans, of Sontag; herdaughters, Mrs. Gene (Evelyn) Tucker Griffith, of Jackson, and Mrs.Raymond (Sylvith) Fortenberry, of Silver Creek; her 12grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and sixgreat-great-grandchildren.
Gerald Dewayne Magee
Services for Gerald Dewayne Magee, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Heuck’s Retreat Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Magee, 42, died Dec. 16, 2006, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born on July 19, 1964, to E.B.Magee and Beulah Mae Bardwell Magee.
He was a 1984 graduate of Enterprise High School. He wasdisabled. He was a member of First Church of God. He was avolunteer firefighter with New Sight Volunteer Fire Department inBrookhaven. He was a member of the Brookhaven Moose Lodge.
Preceding him in death were his mother; his brother, VernonEdward Magee; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon C. Bardwell;Enoch Magee and Annie Bell Magee.
Survivors are his father; his sisters, Barbara Magee, ofBrookhaven, and Rhonda Lott and husband Murray, of Hazlehurst; hisuncles, Hollis Bardwell and wife Linda, of Pearland, Texas, HerchelMagee and wife Charlotte, of West Monroe, La., and Billy Posey, ofBrookhaven; his aunts, Virginia Fernandez, of Brookhaven, YvonneOliveaux and husband O.J., of Ferriday, La., and Mazie Williams, ofBurnet, Texas; his great-aunts, Jesse Boyd and Shirley Magee, bothof Brookhaven; and his special friend, “Moma Karen” Williamson.
William P. Sandifer Sr.
Services for William P. Sandifer Sr., of Brookhaven, were 11a.m. today, Dec. 18, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.
Mr. Sandifer, 80, died Dec. 16, 2006, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. He was born in Willitz, La., on Dec. 9, 1926, toEwing B. Sandifer Sr. and Pearl Bryant Sandifer.
He was retired from Mississippi Power and Light Co. after 38years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Hewas a member of Jackson Street United Methodist Church. He was amember of the Brookhaven Masonic Lodge and the Shriners.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, BobSandifer and John Sandifer; a sister, Ruby Nell Sandifer Berry; andhis first wife, Juanita Norton Sandifer.
Survivors are his wife, Betty Moak Sandifer, of Brookhaven; hisson, William P. Sandifer Jr. and wife June, of Brookhaven; hisdaughter, Janette Sandifer, of Shreveport, La.; his grandchildren,Matt Sandifer and wife Christy, and Ben Sandifer, all ofBrookhaven; his brothers, Charles “Buddy” Sandifer and wife Belva,of Brookhaven, Maxie S. Sandifer and wife Claria, of Flynt, Texas,Gary Sandifer and wife Grace, of Wesson; his sister, Judy Sandifer,of Bay City, Texas; his brother-in-law, Jakie Moak and wifeFrances, of Jackson; his sisters-in-law, Ovia “Dodole” Sandifer andShirley Sandifer, both of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces, nephewsand friends. He is also survived by a special Navy friend with whomhe served his entire military time, Albert Tucker, of Weaubleau,Mo.

Mrs. Tadlock, 83, died Dec. 17, 2006, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter. She was born in Burns on Jan. 12, 1923, to G.M. Caughmanand Bertha Windham Caughman.
She was a graduate of Draughons Business College. She was aretired vocational secretary at Brookhaven High School. She was amember of First Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, HondelLaBarre Caughman; and her sister, Sybil Erwin.
Survivors are her husband, Travis Tadlock, of Brookhaven; hersons, Tommy Tadlock and wife Felicia, of Athens, Ga., and SidTadlock and wife Pattie, of Clinton; her daughter, Susan Williamsand husband Kenneth, of Houston, Texas; her brother, Grady W.Caughman; her sisters, Edna Hawkins and Edith Wright; hergrandchildren, Anna Tadlock, Stacie Yount, Kelly Chandler, MichaelTadlock and Rob Tadlock; and her great-grandchild, BenjaminChandler.

Survivors are her husband, Mitchell G.
