Services for Will R. Dufrene Sr., of New Hebron, are 2 p.m.Friday, Dec. 29, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Cliburn Cemetery in New Hebron.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Dufrene, 64, died Dec. 25, 2006, at Lawrence CountyHospital. He was born on Feb. 10, 1942, to Nelvin J. Dufrene andAlice Dufrene Dufrene.

He was a retired boat captain with Hannah Marine Towing Corp. Hewas a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Penni R. Dufrene, of New Hebron; hissons, Chris Dufrene, of Hattiesburg, John Dufrene, of Jacksonville,Fla., Will Dufrene Jr., of Luling, La., and Randy Dufrene, ofParadis, La.; his daughters, Monique Burris, of Russellville, Ark.,and Raquel Dufrene, of Kenner, La.; his brother, Alvin Dufrene,La.; his sisters, Della Hembree, of Texas, Georgia Pyrol, ofLouisiana, and Genevive Authement, of Louisiana; and his 14grandchildren.
